Why aren't Baggetta_Ware products available for Mac computers?
All of our programs are developed using Microsoft Visual Basic and compiled to work on all Windows PC's (with the exception of really early interfaces). Unfortunately, Microsoft has not seen fit to make a version of Visual Basic that compiles for Mac's. Until that time, we are restricted the the PC format only.

There is a workaround, however. If you are using a Windows emulator on your computer, you should be able to run our software with few restrictions.

Will Baggetta_Ware products run on the new Windows Vista?
We have tested most of our products on Windows Vista and have been able to run them with no problems.

Does Baggetta_Ware charge for upgrades to newer versions of their software?
We believe you should feel secure that you will have the latest version of our software running on your Windows PC. We do not charge for any upgrades to software purchased from us. If you know that a newer version of the program you purchased is available, please contact us with your purchase information and we will send you a link to the free upgrade.

I purchased your Iliad Test Generator and it is not working...i need it asap. The program appears to get started, then I am getting a "Run-time error '339': Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" I've tried reinstalling multiple times; I've downloaded Winzip and nothing works. Please help.
On problem might be that the program was corrupted in the download. Try downloading the program again and reinstall. This problem most often occurs because the program was installed without Administrator permissions. This is the case with some Vista machines, depending on how they are set up. When installing a one of our applications on Vista, you need to be an admin and run elevated (right click on the exe or shortcut and select "Run as Admin").

Why do I need WinZip to use your programs?
Well, technically, you don't need WinZip to run our programs. We compress all of our download files using WinZip and you will need this program (or one that work similarly) to unpack the files. WinZip makes the download smaller and therefore faster for you. If you don't own WinZip, you can download a trial version from Winzip.com. This will be enough to get you going with the current download. The program is not free, however, so if you plan on using it in the future, you should consider purchasing it.

If you are having a problem with WinZip, please contact us and we will make arrangements to send you the files needed unzipped.

I downloaded the demo [of a program] and liked that--no problem. I downloaded the full version, but when I try to install it, I keep getting just the demo installed again. Help, please.
If you have a demo version of one of our programs installed on your Windows PC, uninstall it before installing the full working version. You can uninstall the program using the Windows uninstall via the Control Panel, or you can simply run the full version of our program and select uninstall first, when asked about installation. After you uninstall, go back and install again and all should be well.

I did not receive the download... will it appear in my email or else ware?
Hello sir/Madame, I just ordered a Hamlet test. However, I thought I ordered the download test, but I didn't. I really need the downloadable file ASAP.
I just purchased your Huck Finn test generator. How do I down load it? Any help would be appreciated.
We make all of our products available via download to serve you quickly. Unfortunately, in the rush to download some customers have missed the all important "download" button on Pay Pal. After you make payment with your credit card or Pay Pal, they show a button labeled RETURN TO BAGGETTA_WARE or RETURN TO MERCHANT. If you click this button, you will be whisked off to a download page from which you can download the product you purchased. In any event, if you miss this button (which caused the questions above), just send us an email, and we will send the download link to you (include your phone number in case email gives us a problem).

Hi Al, I realized that I had to pay by way of Pay Pal to get the download. So I did, now I have two orders of the same thing. Can you please cancel the visa order and reverse the charges? If not, please let me know what I have to do the correct the problem. Thank you.
Some of our customers, thinking they did something wrong when making a purchase through Pay Pal, order the product a second time. Not to worry. If we see the same order come thorough twice, we will automatically send a refund for one of them, and we will contact you to let you know.

Do you have a phone number for tech support that could talk me through the installation?
Many of our customers are unfamiliar with computers, downloading, and installation. On our website we have several Video and paper lessons which step you through these processes. I'm pretty much a one man operation (I roughly sleep from 10:00pm to 7:00am EST), but will be glad to guide you through any special problems you encounter, if I can. We've installed one of your programs on our server, but when we try to run it from an individual computer attached to the system we get a cannot find files error? What's the problem?
Well our programs use Visual Basic Runtime files that the program is looking for. When you install to a server the files are not placed on the individual machines. You should at least once, install the program on the individual machines that will be addressing the server. Then when a user runs the program from the server, the program can find the runtime files on the individual machine. If you don't want anyone running the version installed on the individual machine, just remove the shortcut icon.
