     A study of English literature would not be complete without an examination of Chaucer's Prologue to The Canterbury Tales.  This introduction sets the tone for the rest of the tales themselves.  This slightly abridged version of the Prologue is presented on screen with just enough text to whet a student's appetite.  As with all of our interactive literature programs, a series of questions is presented and student must answer each question before going on to another.  This emphasizes concentration and focuses on the segment of the work being presented.  Scores are visible on screen as well as instant verification of answers. 

   Mrs. Grammar, of course, is in attendance to make sure that student phrase their answers rather than simply plunking down a keyword.  The program allows for a printed report and data may be saved to a storage device so that the program may be divided over several class periods.  There are over 90 questions in the program, enough to give an intensive understanding about the Prologue.  The Interactive Utility software is included with the program, so that teachers can set password and help options, and check on student responses.  Complete documentation is included on the CD in Adobe PDF format.
