Oral Rubric PPC  (for Windows Pocket PC)

            If you are teacher, you are aware of what rubrics are.  Basically they are delineated plans for correcting or teaching a subject, and they usually take the form of a printed sheet with all the details for correcting.  One of the projects we have assigned in our classes has been oral reports, and we found that the Pocket PC can help us keep track of an oral report as it is being given by having the rubric criteria right in front of us for checking off.  Hence, we developed our little Pocket PC program called Oral Rubric PPC, for all Pocket PC devices running Windows.  No more paper waste.

            With Oral Rubric PPC, you can enter a student’s name (type it the first time, but select it from a list for later projects).  Go to the main rubric screen and check off the oral report performance features that apply.  A running point and percentage grade is displayed and can be changed at the tap of a pen.  Once the report is completed, the teacher can store the report for printing out of the synchronized folder.  No fuss, no muss.
