The Tragedy of Othello, The Moor Of
Venice is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, written around the year 1603, with
multiple quartos released form the late 1600's into the early 1700's. The play
revolves around five or six central characters. Unlike must tragedies, it
contains no comic relief. Because of its varied themes — racism, love, jealousy
and betrayal, the play remains relevant to the present day, and is still quite
popular.
The Othello Test
Generator will allow you to generate worksheets, quizzes, or tests that can
be used in conjunction with a study of Shakespeare's popular tragedy. The

We have found that giving students daily quizzes on their
reading is helpful in keeping them on track (even if the quizzes are very
short). Students get to expect that there will be a quiz and try to be
prepared. Under normal circumstances this is difficult to do because
making a test or quiz can be very time consuming, never mind the correcting of
them. With our test generators, however, you can quickly make up different
tests for each class, and our answer keys make it easy to correct the results.
